Laser welding machines are growing in popularity because the laser welding process operates at very high speeds with low heat generation and little or no distortion. The process also requires no filler material and naturally lends itself to automation for a stable, repeatable weld process.

With experience in hybrid welding, induction-assisted laser welding, and cold wire feed welding as well as knowledge of both destructive and non-destructive techniques (e.g. ultrasound, x-ray, helium leak detection), Preco engineers will work with you to configure a machine that will meet all of your goals.

	ST Series
	ST Series The Preco ST Series Laser Workstations perform multi-axis laser welding, drilling and cutting in a class I enclosure. These time and field proven machines are designed around fixed beam laser technology and Preco XY motion and control technology.
	RT Series
	RT Series The R/T 1000 Laser Cell is one of the first “standard” versatile laser machine tools designed specifically for laser welding, laser cladding, laser heat treating and specialty laser cutting applications. It can process round, tubular, rectangular or flat components within a typical work envelope of 60” wide by 24” deep and by 12” high. Its cantilevered X axis design provides a compact footprint with easy access for manual or automatic loading and unloading.
	SL Series
	SL8000 Series This versatile machine offers single and multiple head sheet metal cutting operations along with laser welding, heat treating, and cladding capabilities. It features a moving XY table and worksupport areas up to 60” x 120”. Common applications include the welding of formed or stamped sheet metal, machined metal components, and power generation turbines.
