Tim joined Preco in 1991 as Vice President of Finance and General Counsel and subsequently became President in 2006 and CEO in 2016. He has over 35 years of experience in a variety of industries, starting his career with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering; Tim worked in the defense (Allied Signal) and communications industries (Sprint). He also earned an MBA-Finance during this period of time. Subsequently he received a JD-Business Law is a licensed patent attorney and worked at the Shughart Law Firm.
Randy is responsible for Preco operations worldwide, he started with Preco Inc. in 1997 as the Director of Operations at the Lenexa, Kansas location (primarily die cutting). He has been active in the Laser side of the business since the acquisition of LMI (Laser Machining Inc.) in 2002 and is currently based out of the Somerset, Wisconsin (laser manufacturing and contract services) location. Prior to joining Preco, he was the President/General Manager of Sequel Corp. the automotive division of SRC (Springfield Remanufacturing Corp) in Missouri. Prior experience also includes employment at Kraft foods and a 2 year COOP with General Motors while attending college. He has a B.S. in Industrial Management from Missouri State University, and an MBA from Baker University.
Brian, Director of Finance joined Preco in 1994. He began his career in public accounting over 25 years ago. He holds a CPA, Certified Public Accountant designation, as well as a CMA, Certified Management Accountant designation.
Dr. Poulain is the V.P. of Operations for Preco's Die-Cutting Division (DCD). He started with Preco in 2000 as a Laser Applications and Design Engineer. Prior to joining Preco, he served as a Research Assistant Professor in the Center for Electro-Optics, University of Nebraska–Lincoln, specializing in laser-material interactions and laser-based detection methods. Dr. Poulain has over 30 years of experience in laser material processing, die-cutting and web-handling processes, and machine design. He holds B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer (Mechanical).
Corey is the Vice President of Operations for Preco’s Somerset, WI facility. He joined the Preco staff in 2001 and has over 15 years of engineering, project and management experience in a contract manufacturing services environment. Corey holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a certified Professional Engineer by the state of Wisconsin.
Ken has a strong and diverse background in customer relationship management, business development, operations management, medical device manufacturing and polymer processing. Ken Joined Preco in April, 2005 and is currently the Executive Vice President and General Manager for Preco’s Medical and Precision Converting (MPC) Division. He holds both an undergraduate degree and a Masters Coursework in Management from the University of Wisconsin. Prior to joining Preco, Ken was employed at American Medical Systems (Division of Pfizer’s Hospital Products Group), Phillips Medisize (formerly Phillips Plastics) and United Fabricators of Electronics (UFE).
Kurt is responsible for Preco’s laser converting equipment sales. He began his career in 1980 in contract manufacturing services and has over 35 years in the laser processing industry. Kurt was instrumental for the business and technical development of laser scoring for easy open, the first laser processing application within the flexible packaging market.
David is focused on technical business development of programs, and products, in the areas of industrial laser materials processing and advanced manufacturing equipment. Specific process experience includes; welding, cutting, heat treating, 3D additive, drilling and surface modification. He began his career at Preco in 1985 and has more than 30 years experience in the industrial laser market and holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and a Business Administration degree. Areas of business market experience include: global industrial and educational institutions, focused on laser based manufacturing in the energy, heavy equipment, aerospace, automotive, medical and defense market space.
Mark has more than 20 years in engineering, operations, and business development experience at Preco. He championed embedding data acquisition systems to the company’s process capabilities and analysis in the earliest days of micro-perforation. As the Director of Applications Engineering and Contract Manufacturing Sales, he continues to drive new technologies and business opportunities. Mark has degrees in both Mechanical Engineering and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Ken Cavicchi, started his career in 1978 building hydraulic press systems. In 1998 Ken joined Preco, Inc., in sales and has held several roles in the company since. Ken brings over 30 years of industry experience and a breadth of knowledge on overall Preco capabilities and offerings and is well respected in the industry.
Salvatore, an experienced multilingual European Director with more than 20 years commercial international experience within industrial, electronics, packaging and banking services. Salvatore joined the Preco staff in 2015 and is responsible for sales activities in Europe, Eastern Asia and Russia.
